Get in touchAbout
I am an electrical and electronics engineering student at Nanyang Technological University with a strong foundation in embedded systems, digital design and electronics hardware. I have worked on custom RISC-V SoCs, real-time operating systems, peripheral validation and high-voltage automotive power electronics. I am interested in developing dependable hardware and software for demanding engineering applications.
Selected Work
RISC-V SoC and RTOS Development
ProblemA custom RISC-V SoC required a reliable real-time operating system, validated peripherals and support for hardware acceleration.
RoleOptimized the RTOS, validated ADC/DAC, I2C, UART, USB and DDR4 controllers, and developed an application using cameras, TFT-LCDs and a Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Array.
ResultImproved on-chip peripheral performance and stability by 9% at higher clock speeds and demonstrated RTOS operation with hardware-accelerated gesture and voice recognition AI.
Formula Racing DC/DC Converter
ProblemNTU Formula Racing needed a compact low-voltage power supply sourced from a high-voltage accumulator.
RoleDesigned a 470V-to-12V DC/DC converter for the race car’s low-voltage system.
ResultReplaced a 15kg battery pack with a 500g PCB, reducing equivalent mass by 96% and achieving 600 W/L volumetric power density.
Wireless Telemetry and CAN Motherboard
ProblemThe race car required reliable real-time communication between dashboards and other system microcontrollers.
RoleDesigned the rear motherboard with 4G LTE, LoRa and isolated CAN interfaces.
ResultDelivered an integrated communications platform for wireless telemetry and robust real-time MCU connectivity.
